Error -1605 when installing AdvancePro.

This is a known issue with the install shield system. Please try the following to resolve:

  • Click on Start Menu > click on RUN >
  • Enter the following: Regedit
  • When Registry Editor opens, go to: 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE – SOFTWARE – MICROSOFT – WINDOWS – CURRENT VERSION – UNINSTALL  

Note: 64bit OS: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE – SOFTWARE - WOW6432NODE – MICROSOFT – WINDOWS – CURRENT VERSION – UNINSTALL

You should see a few options for InstallShield. Delete the entry related to AdvancePro

Once that is done - install AdvancePro again.
