Using QuickBooks merchant services in a cloud-hosted environment

If you are using our cloud-hosted environment for QuickBooks and are experiencing problems with merchant services, please ensure you are launching QuickBooks from the server desktop. If you do not have a desktop access, please submit a ticket requesting access

 

To launch QuickBooks from the desktop:
  1. Log into your web portal (e.g., mycompany.advanceprotech.com)
  2. Click the 'Desktop' icon.
  3. Once the desktop loads, click the 'QuickBooks' icon to launch QuickBooks within the desktop session (you can also launch AdvancePro from within the same desktop window).
Note: it may also be necessary to disable Internet Explorer Enhanced Security on the server if messages such as "Internet Security Levels Are Set Too High” are encountered.
