Troubleshooting Printers Not Showing in a Citrix Session

If local printers (installed on the computer you are connecting from) are not showing in the list of printers when attempting to print from within a Citrix session, it may be that they are not being added to the server when logging in. Try the following to resolve the issue:

  1. As an administrator user, log into the Citrix server Desktop.
  2. Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Services.
  3. Scroll down to "Citrix Print Management Service" and restart the service (or start it if it is stopped). Also ensure that it is set to Automatic startup.
  4. Log out of any Citrix sessions and back in again. (If you are logged into the desktop, you must click Start > Log Off.)
After performing the above steps, the printers should be added to the server and be available for printing. If the problem still persists, contact support so the issue can be further investigated.
