How to Categorize and Sub-Categorize Products via Excel Import

This document will guide the user on Categorizing products efficiently through the use of Microsoft Excel.

Prerequisites:

1. Exported Product list in Excel (.xls) format. It must contain the following columns:

a. SKU Number

b. Product Name

2. Categories and Sub-Categories on AdvancePro.

The user must already prepare the categories and/or sub-categories on AdvancePro prior to the Excel Import

This can be done under Products >> Manage Categories

3. Back-up of AdvancePro Database.

Before apply any major changes, the user must secure a backup of AdvancePro in case of procedural or user errors
