      AdvancePro Database is Unavailable after Power Outage or Fluctuation

      Error Message:




      If a customer has experienced a power outage and was not able to properly shut down the server machine, there is a possibility that the AdvancePro SQL SERVICE would be Stopped.

      In case of any power fluctuation in the future and you see a similar error message (Database is unavailable)

      You would go to Start Menu > All Programs
      >> Microsoft SQL Server 2012
      >> Configuration Tools > SQL Server Configuration Manager

      See if the AdvancePro Service is Running or Stopped.
      If "Stopped", right click on it and hit Start. Relaunch AdvancePro
      If "Running" you may need to contact support.
