This error occurs if you have ended the install but not the related install processes. Thus, some Install Shield processes may still be running. See the list below to determine which processes are running:
- To end the above mentioned processes, follow the steps given below
- Right click on your TaskBar > Open the task manager > Go to Processes > Locate the above mentioned processes and click the End Process
Ending a process may harm your computer system.
Another reason could be that you are trying to install AdvancePro from a Network drive. If that's the case, then copy all the AdvancePro files onto a local drive and then install. Typically AdvancePro installs from network drives but the above mentioned error occurs on Windows 2000 Servers.
