The error may have been caused due to one of the following:
Language - Regional settings on your operating system are hindering the installation of AdvancePro. To successfully install, follow the steps given below:
- In the control panel, access Regional Settings
- On the First Tab called Regional Options make the following changes
- Change the Standard Format to `English (United States)`
- Change Location to `United States`
- On the `Advanced` tab make the following changes:
- Change the Language Non Unicode Programs to English (US)
- You may get a `Advanced` pop up message, say YES to it
- Restart your computer
- Once you have restarted, install AdvancePro with the new regional setting.
- You can revert back to your original regional settings once you have installed AdvancePro.
- If you decide to uninstall AdvancePro, make sure you change the regional-language settings again
You are required to install the .Net Framework. AdvancePro requires the .NET platform to install
- Go to the Microsoft Windows update website to install the .NET Framework
Get the critical Windows updates - Your OS does not have the critical windows updates thus AdvancePro does not recognize the system`s settings
- Go to the Microsoft Windows update website to install the critical Windows updates
You may have upgraded your OS from an older version without formatting your computer: The registry settings of the previous version have not been removed
- Format your computer
- Install the latest version of the Operating System
You have a peer to peer network. Remove your computer from the network and install AdvancePro (multiple or single user version):
